Terms Of Service

Most orders will ship within 3-5 days and delivery is between 3-7 days. If your package takes longer than 12 days, please contact us immediately so we can determine if you are eligible for a replacement. This must be done within 30 days of placing your order.

Orders
Delivery address changes
Addresses cannot be changed once your order has been submitted. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses or the replacement costs incurred due to this.

Shipping changes
At this time, you cannot change the shipping method (standard/expedited/overnight) of an order after placing it.

Cancellations
Because of our very quick and automated production process, it is not possible to cancel your order after it is placed.

Selection of shipping courier
Right now, you cannot select which shipping courier is used to mail your products, because the way ship depends on what’s available on the ground with our the vendor.

Customs/Duties
Every customer is responsible for all customs and duties fees. Please familiarize yourself with the countries you plan on shipping to so you can help answer customer questions about VAT or duties due.

Production Issues
Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
Because each item is custom printed for each order individually, we cannot accept returns or exchanges or offer refunds.

Reprints
If you receive an item with a printing mistake or a product that was damaged during shipping, in most cases, we will cover the cost of the replacement. This number is about 1% of all deliveries, so this likely won't be an issue.

If you belive you need a reprint, please contact our team (doug (at) doughershey.co) and submit:

-Images of the issue/damage
-The Order number and Item ID number (if there is more than one item in the order)
-A short explanation of the issue

Please note
All complaints regarding product quality need to be reported within 30 days from the moment of purchase in order to be eligible for a reprint.

Shipping Issues
Lost in Transit

Amazingly enough, about 1% of all orders are lost in transit (this is a global statistic!).

If your order has spent more than 12 business days in transit (for Standard shipping) or exceeded the predicted shipping time for an expedited or overnight method, it’s probably lost in transit. At this point, you’ll need to contact us so we can reship the order for you.

If an order is lost in transit and the shipping address submitted with the order is correct, we will reprint and reship a new order at no charge to you using the shipping method you originally paid for.

To claim an order was lost in transit, please contact our team (doug(at)doughershey.co) and submit:
-Order number
-A short explanation of the issue
-The confirmed correct shipping address
-Please note that all complaints regarding lost packages need to be reported within 30 days from the moment of purchase in order to be eligible for a replacement.

Customer claims lost package but tracking says delivered
We are not responsible for refunding or reshipping orders that are marked as delivered.

We recommend checking your front/back porch and ask your neighbors if they saw the package. If there’s still no sign of it, your customer can contact the shipping carrier and file a “lost package” claim.

Undeliverable/returned packages
We use the FedEx address validation service on all incoming orders, which helps us catch the majority of undeliverable or “bad” address entries.

In the rare change that an order does not make it to you and the shipping address entered with the order is incorrect, we will need to wait for the order to be returned to our manufacturing facility and reship it at your cost. Please note that you will be charged for this replacement order.

Tracking number doesn’t work
Sometimes, packages miss their scans at checkpoints during the shipping process, so tracking events on a shipping carrier’s website don’t always capture what’s happening with a package in real-time. We’ve also seen instances where a tracking number isn’t updated, activated on time, or activated at all and the shipment still makes it to our customers.

From our experience, most packages that have tracking issues still make it to your end customer, but if the predicted shipping time has passed and your package hasn’t showed up, please let us know so we can get you a replacement order.

Package held at customs
We know it’s terribly frustrating, but there’s not much we can do for you if a shipment is being held at customs. The best advice we have is to call your local post office or even try to get in touch with the customs facility, but unfortunately, in most cases, all they will be able to do is wait.

Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are used in determining what promotional content is more relevant and appropriate to you and your interests. Websites may use them to deliver targeted advertising or to limit the number of times you see an advertisement. This helps companies improve the effectiveness of their campaigns and the quality of content presented to you. These cookies may be set by the website you’re visiting (first-party) or by third-party services. Targeting/advertising cookies set by third-parties may be used to track you on other websites that use the same third-party service. We use marketing cookies on our site.

Third-party cookies on our site
We may employ third-party companies and individuals on our websites—for example, analytics providers and content partners. We grant these third parties access to selected information to perform specific tasks on our behalf. They may also set third-party cookies in order to deliver the services they are providing. Third-party cookies can be used to track you on other websites that use the same third-party service. As we have no control over third-party cookies, they are not covered by Doug Hershey's cookie policy.
Our third-party privacy promise
We review the privacy policies of all our third-party providers before enlisting their services to ensure their practices align with ours. We will never knowingly include third-party services that compromise or violate the privacy of our users.
